A Message from our Principal

Chesnee Eagle Family,

I want to begin by saying how truly excited I am to start this journey with you.

In 2023, my family and I came to Chesnee looking for a place to call home—a place that felt like home. To say we’ve found that here is an understatement. This community and this school are incredibly special, and I count it a blessing to partner with each of you as we continue to make Chesnee High School the very best it can be.

As a servant leader, I view each day as an opportunity to serve our students, our staff, and the greater Chesnee community. I believe in empowering others and helping them reach their highest potential. I believe deeply in a standard of excellence—one that begins in the classroom and extends to every area of our school. I don’t believe greatness can be selectively applied; you either commit to being great in everything you do, or you settle for being average. While that’s a high bar, I know we have the people and resources to make it our reality.

We will be the premier high school in our area—in academics, the arts, and athletics. I can tell you with confidence that Chesnee already has everything it needs. What we must build more consistently is belief—the belief that there is nowhere better than Chesnee. That belief starts with me, as well as with our faculty and staff, and we’ll work daily to instill it in our students. We won’t allow factors outside of our control to stop us from creating an environment where students can experience the best of small-town life while also pursuing big dreams.

Chesnee is already a great place, and many have poured their hearts and souls into making this community and high school special. Our goal is to honor that work and build upon it. We will preserve the values, traditions, and rites of passage that define what it means to be an Eagle, while at the same time pushing beyond what we think is possible—together, we will SOAR!
